Originally called “Contrology, Pilates was first developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century. Pilates used a series of exercises to develop core stability, improve body alignment to achieve the balance of strength and flexibility. It develops the body uniformly, corrects postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and the spirit.

At Waterloo Wellbeing Centre, our pilates studio is fully equipped with Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder barrel and Wunda Chair. Our exercise programme is tailor made by experienced physiotherapists to ensure your goals are met.
